(2) LINER TRADES

Mekong Shipping Line Ltd chartered and operate the M/V Jatiwangi, effective capacity of 320 teus at 14 tons on a dedicated feeder service between Singapore, Calcutta and Singapore, supported by a broad spectrum of mainline operators using Singapore as a transhipment hub. |

The Singapore, Jakarta, Singapore trade sector is currently operated under a slot purchase scheme, lined up with two of the biggest feeder operators, thus giving us the flexibility and frequency of at least a twice weekly service. Here Megastar with a pool of owned and leased containers, Bills Of Lading operates as an Non Vessel Operation Container Carrier (NVOCC).

Mekong Shipping Line Ltd also chartered and operates the two tugs, M/V Sumber and M/V Tirta, two barges, Global 2 and Global 3 on a dedicated daily service from Singapore, Batam, Singapore service. A tug and barge concept, with carrying capacities of upto 70 teus per barge and the barge are equipped with cranes capable of lifting upto 30 tons gross, with dedicated berths along Jruong Port Berths 2 and 3. |

(3) CHARTERING

Megastar Shipping has a dedicated team that acts as a broker for both ship owners and cargo owners for their respective movements in Asia Pacific region.

Megastar also charters and operates bulk vessels ranging from 16000 tons to 25000 tons for contract of phosphates from Christmas Islands to West Malaysia, East Malaysia and Indonesia and do spot movements within the Asia Pacific region and carries cargo ranging from bulk cement to steel products, etc. |

Megastar also arranges the bulk transportation for several Indonesian state owned companies / plantation that are importing rice, sugar etc, for their country's domestic needs. |

(4) PROJECT AND FREIGHT FORWARDING

Under Megastar Lines Pte Ltd (member of SLA), with its own P&I insured Bills of Lading and a network of agents, the freight forwarding unit offers full container load (FCL and both soc and cocs), LCL, breakbulk and project shipments to all destinations.

Megastar is tied up with an international oil company to supply lubricants to ship owners in the South East Asian region and is currently supplying to an Indonesian state-owned shipping company.
